We are Physiatrists, specialists in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. 

Physiatry:

Physiatrists are medical doctors who primarily treat disorders of the musculoskeletal and neurologic systems, with a focus on improving our patient's functional capabilities. This may include supervising a team of therapists, consisting of physical, occupational and speech therapy, managing a patient's pain or spasticity, and prescribing prosthetics and orthotics. In the acute rehabilitation setting, we also manage most general medical conditions that arise. For our patient's, we help you return to your prior functional level, after a stroke, brain or spinal cord injury, a debilitating hospitalization and numerous other conditions. For hospitals and post acute care facilities, we work with you to maximize functional outcomes in an increasingly value based healthcare environment.
